(I do understand where you're coming from, though. It's not for everyone, and I personally had to look beyond the whole vampire thing and learn to appreciate the wonderfully sarcastic humor and great writing in Joss Whedon's shows. But I digress.) So a friend of mine (and a BtVS/Angel fan like myself) made me watch Firefly. It took a little getting used to, because Joss Whedon and SciFi felt like a weird mix to me at first. But it's a great show. And I can't wait to see the movie. I'm happy to hear that you liked the movie so much (although I can't deny that I'm extremely jealous of you for having seen it already). (I do understand where you’re coming from, though. It’s not for everyone, and I personally had to look beyond the whole vampire thing and learn to appreciate the wonderfully sarcastic humor and great writing in Joss Whedon’s shows. But I digress.)

So a friend of mine (and a BtVS/Angel fan like myself) made me watch Firefly. It took a little getting used to, because Joss Whedon and SciFi felt like a weird mix to me at first. But it’s a great show. And I can’t wait to see the movie.

I’m happy to hear that you liked the movie so much (although I can’t deny that I’m extremely jealous of you for having seen it already). Hope you enjoy the DVDs as well. :)
