And they're getting ready to release <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0395251/" rel="nofollow">a new film</a> based on the musical version. For some reason I had it in my head that <i>The Princess Bride</i> came out in '84. Oh well. Thanks for the heads up on that! Actually, The Producers was a film first and was later made into a musical. And they’re getting ready to release a new film based on the musical version.

I'm glad those of you who are left are keeping that up. I <i>still</i> have not gotten a chance to see "The Producers," but I didn't realize they had a movie version already. I may have to seek that out as the next best thing to seeing the show live. Is "The Princess Bride" really that old? [Checks.] Hm...
